Leveling a Warlock in Diablo 4 Season 15 feels much better once the build starts working with the class instead of fighting its resource limits. Rampage is the key. It calls in a brute, hits the first target hard, then carries that pressure into nearby enemies. Against elites, its Eviscerate trigger can turn a difficult pull into a quick finish. You will notice the difference early, especially when upgrading your weapon or picking up useful D4 items that improve damage over time, life, or core skill power.
Build Around Rampage
The setup becomes far more reliable when Lesser Demons are treated as part of the damage cycle, not just temporary helpers. Legion Soul Shard lets sacrificed demons create extra Rampage casts, so Wrath does not need to carry every fight. Evisceration Fragment adds another layer by giving those smaller creatures a chance to Eviscerate on their own. In practice, you gather enemies, feed the engine, and let the chain reaction do the heavy work. Bosses still need attention, but elite groups usually disappear before they can spread out.
Keep the Rotation Simple
Start with Command Fallen to bring out Mega Lunatics and restore Wrath. Follow with Terror Swarm to expose enemies and consume demons for a stronger attack window. Use Dread Claws when the Vulnerable effect is about to drop. Then press Rampage. That order matters less than keeping the cycle moving, so do not stand still waiting for a perfect setup. Nether Step gives you an escape route and useful damage reduction, while Sigil of Summons helps your minions survive long enough to keep the pressure on.
What to Equip First
| Priority | Useful choices | Reason | | Damage | Damage Over Time, Bleed, Critical Strike | Improves Eviscerate and ongoing effects | | Defense | Maximum Life, Armor, Resistances | Makes close-range pulls less risky | | Utility | Movement Speed, Wrath support | Keeps the leveling route quick | Aspect of Mutilation is especially valuable because Eviscerate can apply Bleed, giving Damage Over Time Multiplier a clear purpose. Add Aspect of Might, Diabolical Armor, and Cauterization for sturdiness. Gorefeast supports healing and Fortify, while Aggressive, Crushing, Expectant, Demonic, and Hellbent Commander raise the build's damage ceiling. Lurid Pact is an excellent ring when it appears, and the Nameless set charm can push Rampage much further.
Paragon, Allies, and Helltides
Once Paragon boards open, take the important Legendary nodes before spending much time improving Glyphs. Ritualism is a strong starting point, followed by Fathomless, Demonic Spicules, and Greater Hex. Raheir works well through the Bastion path, with Aegis covering elemental defenses and Inspiration adding damage against affected targets. Varyana fits the reinforcement slot because Bloodthirst boosts attack and movement speed after skill use. For experience, Helltides remain the most practical route. Invest in the Helltide plan, look for Hellworms, and keep moving through dense areas. With the right upgrades, even D4 items cheap can help fill early gaps while the full setup comes together. |
